PFA / FEP Lined Ball Value :

PFA / FEP / PVDF lined ball valves (Globe valves) are made to confirm international standards like BS, ASA and DIN.

Application :
  • Petrochemicals
  • Chemical
  • Pharmaceuticals
  • Food Processing

They are available in two designs.
  • 2 piece confirming to BS 5351 (Short Pattern)
    • Two piece ball valves are shorter in length and confirms to BS 5351. Short Pattern.
    • In this kind of design stem is integral part of Ball, hence lining on ball is prevented from shear in case of excessive torque.
    • Flanges are drilled according to ANSI B 16.5 or it could be as per customer specifications.
    • All Polycoat valve are coated with high quality, corrosion resistant polyurethane paint.
    • Construction material could be customized to the specific need of the customer.

PFA / FEP Lined Pipes and Fittings

FEP / PFA lined pipes and fittings are best suitable for highly corrosive chemicals and petrochemical, pharmaceutical and food processing industry where no metal tubes last longer or plastic pipes are unusable because of higher service temperature and mechanical stress. Lined pipes and fittings meets extreme mechanical requirement and gives excellent performance upto 265°C (509°F).

We can supply wide range of pipes and fittings :
  • Pipe upto 3 mtr. (10 feet) length
    • PFA/FEP lined pipes are resistant to most chemicals.
    • Available in wide range of size to meet needs of chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical and food processing industry.
    • Available in 25 mm (1") NB to 300 mm (12") NB and length from 100 mm (4") to 3000 mm (120")
    • Pipe material option in C.S. or S.S. as per ASTM A-106 Gr. B
    • Pipe rating option as per Schedule 40 or 20 ( Seamless Pipe )

Custom Lining :

Nonstandard Lined vessles, stirrers, reaction vessels, thermo couple wells, dipping pipes, headers, special pipe fittings are very common requirement of chemical, petro chemical, pharmaceuticals and food processing industry.

Our well equipped tool room and trained mold makers can meet your all custom requirement. And it does not cost heaven.

Few of such examples are illustrated under :
  • Custom Lined Reaction Vessel :Custom lined reaction vessles with end covers, thermowell pipes, all nozzles are welded to body.
  • Custom Lined Pipe Fitting (Header) :Special purpose distribution header. Having 2 nozzles.
  • Custom Lined Acid Tank : This acid Tank used in pickling, Size: 750 mm L X 200 mm W X 200 mm H.
  • Custom Lined Stirrer : FEP lining on stirrer, having span of 900 mm.

PTFE* Coatings :

PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) coatings are water based dispersion coating having non stick, chemical resistance and very low co efficient of friction.

  • Textile sizing cylinders and rollers.
  • Drying cylinder.
  • Photocopier rollers.
  • Cook wares.
  • Toasters, grillers and similar kitchen appliances.
  • Biscuit dies.
  • FRP Molds

PTFE Moulded Articles :

Polycoat offers variety of PTFE (polytetrafluroethylene) molded basic forms like rods, sheet, bush, square bars etc.

PTFE is known for its inert and corrosion resistance properties which easily encounters various otherwise difficult combinations of pressure, temperature, speed, corrosion, moisture, fumes, abrasion, friction etc.

Out of many unique properties if put in one line statement it translate as under :

  • Corrosion resistance : Practically inert to most known chemicals to mankind.
  • Tough yet flexible at wide range of temperature, including cryogenic temperature.
  • Lowest co efficient of friction, PTFE has second lowest coefficient of friction. Second best to Wet Ice to Wet Ice.
  • Almost zero absorption of water, moisture.
  • Non toxic, odor and colorless, non aging, sable under various light conditions, hygienic.
  • Best electrical and dielectric properties, low power factor, no tracking.
  • Ideal for sealing at elevated temperature upto 250°C.

Few Application Area :
Chemical & Petrochemical IndustriesGaskets, Tubes, Gland seals, Packing, Valve seats, "O" rings, Lantern rings, Diaphragms, Thread sealant tapes, universal rope packing, flexible hoses etc.
Electrical & Electronic IndustriesInserts, insulators, adaptors, beads, holders for valves, connectors, spacers, sleevings etc.
Medical & Orthopedic Artificial bones, ear plugs, kidneys etc.
Aerospace IndustriesApplication in this area is so wide that we really can not list it here.
Engineering Bearings, piston rings, slide tracks, oil seals, gaskets, washers, diaphragm for pumps, valves, gears etc.
Scientific EquipmentsExpansion joints, bellows, connection gaskets, crescent rings etc.
Rubber & Tyre IndustriesWashers, seals, steam hoses etc.
